Love can always wait to give Lust cannot wait to take
Love puts the other
person first
Lust puts myself first
Love is an ingredient of
sexual intimacy and would
delay gratification till
Lust is an ingredient to
premarital sex and wants
sex before marriage.
Love brings out the mature
Lust brings out the child in
Love is committing to
someone when they least
deserve it
Lust is driven by feelings
without a sense of
Love gives Lust takes
Love builds up as it seeks
to add value to people
Lust destroys as it seeks
to take value from people
Love never fails as it is
essential for the success
of any meaningful
Lust always seeks what
it can get and as such no
meaningful relationship
can be built on lust
God is Love which gives
Lust is rooted in
selfishness which comes
from the devil and leads
to death
But the fruit of the
Spirit is love, joy,
peace, longsuffering,
kindness, goodness,
faithfulness, gentleness,
(Galatians 5:22-23)
Now the works of
the flesh are evident,
which are: adultery,
fornication, uncleanness,
lewdness, idolatry, sorcery,
hatred, contentions,
jealousies, outbursts of
wrath, selfish ambitions,
dissensions, heresies, envy,
murders, drunkenness,
revelries, and the like.
(Galatians 5:19-21)

As always, marriage is a journey and not a destination. The bible is the blue print while the Holy Spirit is your guide.

Love Always
